A quiet story about grief, memory, and coming home.
Original music from the film Ghosted, composed by Copper.
Though fractured by grief, Taine still returns home, uncertain but searching for healing. That choice is her first step forward.
The story unfolds over two quiet days. But everything changes the moment she reads the letter... a turning point where healing truly begins.
A childhood mistake altered the course of her life, her father’s, and others around her. This is her chance to finally face what was never said.
Ghosted is a deeply personal film. As many of you may already know, I lost my mother at 12 in a tragic accident, and not long after, my father emotionally, and eventually physically disappeared from my life. He left without telling me, and we grew distant until we barely spoke at all. Years later, I thought about reaching out to invite him to my wedding… but before I could, I got the call that he had passed away. We never got closure. So I gave that closure to Taine... A character who, in many ways, carries the weight I never got to set down. She got the letter. She got to come home. She got to stop running. This film is for anyone who’s ever mourned the memories they never got to make.
